“Over 1,000 Children Take Pledge to Follow Traffic Rules”
Jabalpur, 15.08.2025 — During the Independence Day celebrations at Sandipani School, Adhartal, a grand Road Safety Pledge Ceremony was organized where nearly 1,000 students pledged to follow traffic rules themselves and ensure that their families also adhere to them. Each participant signed a commitment sheet as a testimony to their pledge. The oath was administered by the members of Supansha Development Foundation.
This program was conducted under the Road Safety Campaign – Jabalpur, an initiative launched by Supansha Development Foundation at the call of the Honorable District Collector and Superintendent of Police, Jabalpur. The campaign aims to improve traffic discipline in the city and ensure the safety of every individual on the road.
The students collectively raised their hands and took the oath, chanting slogans such as “Follow Traffic Rules – Make Life Safe”. They signed the pledge sheet, affirming their commitment to road safety. At the end of the program, juices were distributed to all students and parents present, with the support of Dabur India Limited.
Dignitaries Present: The event was graced by officers from the Traffic Police Department, the school’s Principal and Management, along with local social workers. All guests delivered inspiring messages on the importance of traffic rules and the need for road safety.
Key Objectives of the Campaign and Appeal to Society
The Foundation members and students urged the citizens of Jabalpur to follow traffic rules diligently and inspire others to do the same, so that the number of road accidents can be reduced and a culture of safe traffic behavior can be developed in the city.

- Wearing seat belts while driving four-wheelers.
- Systematic and disciplined vehicle parking.
- Keeping all vehicle documents updated and valid.
- Strict adherence to traffic lights and other road signals.
Future Plans: Dr. Pankaj Dubey, Director of Supansha Development Foundation, announced that the Foundation’s team will organize similar pledge ceremonies and awareness rallies in other schools across Jabalpur in the coming months, aiming to spread this vital message to lakhs of children and their families.
