Supansha® Development Foundation (SDF)

1. Introduction

Supansha® Development Foundation (SDF) is an ISO 9001:2015-certified Section 8 Company (License No. 144064), dedicated to empowering communities through sustainable and meaningful programs in:

  1. Healthcare & Well-being
  2. Education & Livelihoods
  3. Research & Data Science
  4. Biodiversity & Eco Care

SDF operates in compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements, including:

  • Companies Act, 2013 (Section 8 Company)
  • 12A & 80G Registrations under Income Tax Act, 1961
  • CSR Registration Number: CSR00059426
  • NGO Darpan Registration Number: MP/2023/0348886

Note: SDF does not currently hold FCRA registration; foreign contributions are not accepted until approval is obtained.

2. Scope of the Policy

This policy governs the receipt, utilization, and refund of:

  • Individual & corporate donations
  • CSR contributions under Companies Act, 2013
  • Government grants and institutional funding
  • International grants (only upon future FCRA approval)

3. Modes of Donation & Contribution

SDF accepts donations and contributions through the following modes:

  • Online donations via official website and integrated payment gateway
  • Electronic Bank Transfers (NEFT/RTGS/IMPS):
    Federal Bank – A/c No.: 24090100004178 | IFSC: FDRL0002409
    ICICI Bank – A/c No.: 657605601999 | IFSC: ICIC0006576
  • In-kind contributions – Essential goods, food products, and other relief materials
  • Cheque/Demand Draft drawn in favor of Supansha Development Foundation
  • Grants & CSR Partnerships through approved institutional agreements

All donations are voluntary and utilized exclusively for the objectives of SDF.

4. Tax Compliance & Donor Benefits

  • Section 80G Compliance: All eligible donations qualify for tax deductions under the Income Tax Act, 1961
  • Form 10BD Filing: Annual statement of donations filed with Income Tax Department
  • Form 10BE Issuance: Certificate provided to donors to claim 80G benefits
  • ITR-7 Filing: Mandatory annual return of SDF
  • CSR Compliance: Separate audit trail maintained as per Companies Act, 2013 & CSR Rules

5. Transparency & Reporting

  • Annual Reports with audited financial statements
  • Utilization Certificates (UCs) where required
  • Project-wise fund utilization records
  • CSR utilization disclosures as per MCA requirements

6. Refund Policy

  • Donations once made are generally non-refundable
  • Refunds may be permitted in cases of duplicate transactions or technical errors
  • Refund requests must be made within 7 working days via supansha@supansha.org
  • Approved refunds will be processed to the original source within 10–15 business days
  • No refund is possible once Form 10BE has been issued

  • Non-Profit Orientation: All funds are applied solely for charitable objectives as per MoA
  • Non-Refundable Nature: Except in cases of error/technical failure, contributions are non-refundable
  • Tax Compliance Responsibility: Donors are responsible for ensuring their own tax eligibility
  • No Influence on Governance: Donors cannot control program implementation or governance
  • Banking & Security: Only official bank accounts/payment channels may be used
  • Policy Updates: This policy may be revised periodically; updated versions will be posted at www.supansha.org
