What is SWAPINGO?

SWAPINGO is a dedicated institutional development, accreditation, quality assurance and collaboration initiative governed by SUPANSHA® Development Foundation.

Who is eligible to become a SWAPINGO Member NGO?

Eligible legally registered nonprofit nongovernmental organisations, including Indian charitable trusts, societies and Section 8 companies, and qualifying nonprofit equivalents internationally.

Is membership free?

Yes. Ordinary NGO membership is free. Specific external professional engagements, visits and related arrangements, if applicable, require separate prior agreement.

Does a member NGO automatically receive accreditation?

No. An NGO becomes a member after application approval. SWAPINGO Accreditation must subsequently be earned through a verified score of at least 80/100, mandatory compliance checks and an impartial approval process.

Can a member NGO attend or vote in SWAPINGO network meetings?

Only an Active Accredited Member NGO is eligible for official meeting representation, chapter elections and voting. No NGO may send more than two authorised delegates to one event.

Does Self-Assessment provide accreditation?

No. The browser-based calculator is purely diagnostic, unverified and not an official Verified Score. Accreditation requires independently assessed evidence.

How long is SWAPINGO Accreditation valid?

Three years, subject to annual surveillance and continued compliance. Full re-accreditation takes place before the end of the three-year period.

How can an NGO use the Public Directory?

Directory entries link to shareable full institutional profiles. In production, current verified ratings and authorised NGO disclosures can be viewed; private information stays restricted.

May a member use the SWAPINGO logo or seal?

Not automatically. SWAPINGO marks are controlled by SUPANSHA® Development Foundation. Logo and accreditation mark use require specific authorisation under brand rules.

Are government or CSR endorsements guaranteed?

No. External partners apply their own due diligence. Any governmental or partner logo may be used only where specifically permitted and accurately reflects the authorised relationship.
